Look out for your book in the mail! Here is Rama’s winning entry: One day before Christmas, my beloved pet, a 12-year-old, kelpie-terrier-cross, displayed her usual devotion and followed me into the garage where her canine inquisitiveness got the better of her. While I was turning one corner of the garage upside down looking for specific project papers, Tasha was busy sniffing around in every nook and cranny! A quick search in the house and the garden proved fruitless. After shouting her name out aloud several times I could hear sad howling and the garage door being scratched. |
