Australian Red Cross Big Cake Bake

Want to raise some dough and help the Red Cross?

There is still time to register for the Big Cake Bake and anyone can join in! Get together with colleagues, friends and family and bake your favourite cake, slice, pie, cupcake, cookie or dessert to support a good cause.

Events can include a morning or afternoon tea, cake sale or baking competition – the opportunities are endless! The official event date is Monday, 26th August 2013, however, to make sure nobody misses out, events can be held anytime, anywhere throughout August.

To participate in Big Cake Bake, you must register. Once registered, a host kit will be sent to you with all the tools you need to run a successful event, including an information booklet, donation box, posters to promote your event and a special oven mitt! All donations raised from Big Cake Bake will support the everyday work of Red Cross, including programs and services to help some of the most vulnerable people in Australia and further afield.

There are plenty of recipes from chefs and celebrities, including Adrian Richardson, Adriano Zumbo, Kate Ritchie, Maggie Beer and Poh.

Dine at the Tastes of Victoria rotating pop-up restaurant, the Brew Bar & BBQ and be transported into the world of Australia’s favourite cooking show with a MasterChef kitchen tour.
